Guest guest Posted February 5, 2003 Report Share Posted February 5, 2003 Sat Nam , Could someone tell me how yoga helps with the disorder of the bowels,stomach-ache.It's my chronic disease and I fell terrible to deal with it by medicine,I've to use it for a long time,.What should I do?which asanas is good for me? Guest guest Posted February 6, 2003 Report Share Posted February 6, 2003 Yes, I got your problem beside others and that is why I started with hatha yoga 30 years ago, no I am 56... I got cronic constipation Stomach aches long and heavy digestions Obesity nervousness Hemorroids headaches insomnio My weight was 30% above what it should be and yes yoga is the answer, I can tell you... What I did: I change bad food habbits:less alchool, less meat, more vegetables and fruits and natural cereals, not eating at all when my stomach mas " nervous", and (very important) taking my time eating because I used to eat in 10 minutes. Going to the toilet on a regular basis Meditation: 20 minutes a day Hatha yoga 35 minutes minimun every day And some kind of aerobic sport 5 hours per week (walking fast is also fine) Read books about radja yoga, espiritual helps a lot Sorry I know there are too many things (do not forget love in you life, from everywhere, to everybody including your self), but believe me,it is worthwhile.. now a am another person, simply happy, full of happiness and, since that time I do not know what is even a simple cold...
