Guest guest
We are the male species. Much of our physical structure is in the chest and upper half of our body, compared to women. Yogiji has said that men need to play sports where we are swinging our arms. Badminton is perfect, since the racket is light enough that we don't develop tennis elbow. It's in our nature to work in this way. Finding a way to exercise this in a socially non-harming way is very important for our balance. I think it would be the best if after having run or play tennis, to then do a layout, tune into the subtle and then follow that with an meditation to integrate. I spoke some harsh words to him in order to convey an idea of urgency over a matter that he has not attempted to resolve for two years. Afterwards, I felt somewhat sorry for having been deliberately hurtful with my speech, but I felt it was necessary (I tried using tough love, because kind love has been ineffective with him, so far). > > > > Anyhow, at the beginning of my run, as I started a climb up a steep hill, I started cramping up along my abdomen. My mind also kept messing with me over the conversation. Once I got to the top of the hill, I tried your experiment. I got a handful of rocks and tossed one at a stone. The rock was small and disappeared out of sight in the twilight of dusk, so I got closer to the stone. I began to throw more rocks, and I focused my attention on these rocks. After a few tosses, I started laughing. The rocks I was throwing would just bounce off the stone. It didn't matter how hard I threw the stones, they would just bounce off. I know I'm far from achieving the stones capacity repel what is directed towards me (hurtful speech in this case), but it is a possiblity that brought a smile to my face. Afterwards, I stopped cramping up and felt lighter. > > > > When I continued my run I directed love in my father's direction. > > > > Sat Nam, > > Ernie > >tra CDs.
