The label claims it helps to restor the body's natural akaline balance. It comes in a few flavors- I tried the vanilla nut and it was very good (next tme I want to try the choc mint). Ingredients are: roasted carob,chicory root, figs, almonds, dates, vanilla and natural flavor. I know that drinking lots of water and avoiding sugar, caffeine and acidic foods all help but it would be nice to have a beverage (and one that tastes good too? is that too much to ask) that would neutralize the acids.
