Guest guest
Sat Nam all, I have been reading the posts about spiritual names these last few days and I am intrigued by the idea. But, being fairly new to Kundalini Yoga, I would feel presumptuous asking for one myself at this point. Do you have to "earn" the privilege somehow? Or do you just know intuitively when you are ready to ask for/receive one? Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful insights. Karin
Guest guest
Sat Nam Rama, I too have the same interests, I do not have the brains to get into the medical field, there are not Kundalini teachers training courses in the area for me to go to nor do I have the finances . I decied to apply to Temple University for Anthropology/Archaeology course and was excepted. I still have two major hurtls (spelling?) get over before I can get really excited, the entrance exam and financal aid. If you are interested in the book I mentioned earlier you may need to purchase a set of mala beads. You should be able to find them in any "new age" shope. I have been chanting mantras for a while now and I found a passage written form one of the author, "Mantras are powerfull and thus dangerous if used improperly. Say a mantra with a motivation to benefit all beings by merit or good karma that comes with recitation, whatever positive benefits result, may they benifit all begins. Use a mantra in moderaion". With any type of spiritual practices consult an experienced teacher. We already have plenty of them in this group. BLESSINGS TO ALL, SADHANA:)Get more from the Web.
