Guest guest
Sat Nam Branislav, Wow, Belgrade, that's a long way from Dallas. "How to keep L in the head? Does it mean we should imagine a figure resembling the letter L or something else?" --visualize and L with S at the top coming down through the crown, and the A going out through the Third Eye. This forms an L. So when I do Kirtan most of my time is spent in the Crown/Third Eye area. "Also, it's not quite easy for me to keep hands and tongue moving... I lose concentration and can't chant properly. Doesn't the tongue move by itself while chanting?" --I believe using the 'L' form actually helps this. It increases your concentration. Practice, cut back your time if need be until your fingers are synced with the mantra. My advice, don't worry about 'moving the tongue', just keep on the mantra. Its easy to lose your place on Kirtan if you don't concentrate on the fingers and the mantra. Trying timing the touch of the fingers with the A leaving your Third Eye, I think this is what I do. Keep doing it and it will become a habit quickly. Blessings Deva
