Guest guest
Sat Nam Rama Kaur, My experience with Akaal is the healing and release is at such a DEEP level and of course the more connected you are to the loved one that has passed, the more difficult the chanting will be. When you chant Akaaaaaaaaaaall visualizing releasing and helping this person, soul cross past the cyclic rebirth/ death... what an incredible act of kindness and unselfishness! The mantra was given to me by Gurmukh in order that I might release the grief and pain over my daughter's passing and to release her from the cycle. As a mother this is a loss at so many incredibly deep levels. Heather passed suddenly in an accident involving three other souls and I had to decide to discontinue life support after 3 days. I felt that I had unselfishly released her once but to release her from rebirth...wow !! the Akal was such HARD PAINFUL work, I had to stop and start the 40 days. It works at a deep level and your friend may just have to work through the crying. Yoga helps us to move through our pain, to be alive in the middle of it when we feel as though we can't go on, not to step around it, or stay in the third eye untouched. Help support your friend through this difficult process and know that crying is a good thing to help release and let go...not neccessarily something to try to stop with more asana or a different mantra. I wish you and your friend healing and peace, Rebecca
