Guest guest
SAT NAM RAMA, I humbly apologies if I confused you, I should have mentioned that Rama was a very powerful healer and spiritual figure. When I see the name Rama I automatically think of healing . I just wanted to familiarize you with who Rama was, wrong article , I guess. The author of the healing mantra book I have ,mentions "there is healing energy in the name Rama" . Healing with Rama mantras are wonderful . I only completed one (40 day, three times and day) and it was great , while I was chanting this mantra I could feel my solar plexus becoming energized and I would walk out of the house at 5:21 AM feeling like a ball of light . The title of the book (it comes with a companion CD too) is Healing Mantras by Thomas Ashley-Farrand . I hope you understand where I may be coming form now . Again I apologies . "light unto thee" Sadhana:)Get more from the Web. FREE MSN Explorer download : http://explorer.msn.com
Guest guest
I thought there had to be something to the healing/Rama connection. I've been caught between two career choice for a while now. Archeaology, which I've loved since I was a child, is now causing me a moral dilema. The digging up of things that have been returned to the earth seems to negate healing, even if we do learn something from them. Then I think its going to get done anyway, might as well be by someone like me that will respect the sacredness of the past and the finds. Lately health and healing of people and the earth have been of great interest to me. Guess I should check out that book. Thanks for the info. Guest guest
Rama, The thought that comes to my mind about what you just expressed is that..archeology is digging up the past....and relating that to healing...we need to dig up the past (clean out the subconscious)...we need to examine our feelings and thoughts..in order to understand our actions and it's through this understanding we learn compassion and evolve our consciousness. >From an "old" structure model we may dig up the past and simply revel in all the pain that surfaces, fueling it and never move on to the next stage....which is taking the information you uncover and learning from it and evolving.... So I think it comes back to what is your intention? And I believe you stated that your intention is one of a sacred nature.....what can I distill from the past to evolve my future? (And I talking about "my" in the big sense... "our") Sat Nam, Sat Sangeet Amanda Hamm <MandyPan97 wrote: I thought there had to be something to the healing/Rama connection.
