Guest guest
Sat Nam Shiv Antar, Kaishore Guggulu an Ayurvedic herbal preparation has been extremely helpful for my knees. I also have Vata as one of my predominant Doshas. It is recommended that you apply warm organic sesame oil to all the joints in the body and this also helps me greatly, I also do Abhyanga every morning. A great book to read would be Yoga and Ayurveda by David Frawley. He has many other in depth books on the subject but this is an overall, not a lot of depth but definetly a good place to start. I hope this helps. Wishing you good health and blessings, Rebecca
Guest guest
Rebecca, Where do you find ayurvedic herbs? Is there a good online site for this? I don't recall ever seeing this kind of thing in my local health food stores. Maybe I should call and ask. What is Abhyanga? Actually, one of the ayurveda books I have is "Yoga & Ayurveda" By David Frawley. It's a rather complex book for a novice. I bought a more introductory book. It is helpful & will help me better understand the Frawley book. I appreciate your help. I don't know if you got a reply on this already, I'm not gettin all my emails lately. www.ayurveda-herbs.com is a great resource with lots of information on everything they offer.
