Why I tend hurried while I practice breathing?

Sat Nam.

When I practice breathing I tend hurried in stages of breathing,I seem like

to breath a lot than normal.What should I do?Could someone tell me the

benefits of each stage(inhale,exhale.......) when we're breathing.I think if

I know and understand the benefits and functions of each stage I would love

them more.,then I will be calm to contemplate and get more benifit from

each stage.
