Guest guest
Sat Nam Joey....Welcome! You won't be disapointed with "Prem". It is beautiful and has a very universal sound to it. It touches many people from different walks and cultures. To add to the information that Deva shared with you... I'm laughing as I read your e-mail..."could anybody who has experience with the problem of, "these small identities", comment"....because we all do! That's what we're are all working on! So my answer is YES! I can relate! Ha ha! First of all we start by buying into some "slightly off" perception of our selves based on our experiences in life...from there we feed this perception with more and more energy, giving this perception, a life of it's own....and presto!...we have a whole crowd, living within us (small identities). The next question becomes...which of these "people" have over stayed there welcome and now really no longer serve our higher goals and need to exit the premises, sooner than later, if possible? And this is what we do through KY, we clean out our closets, one piece of clothing (limiting thought pattern) at a time. As the Kundalini energy rises the practitioner experiences a rise in awareness. With this rise in awareness you begin to recognize every thought form you have "bought" into that limits your chances of experiencing excellence as a human being in your life. Including experiencing love, beauty, sharing, radiance, co-creativity, connection with others and your higher being. So through the practice of KY, we can begin to "de-mystify" our lives...through opening our awareness, recognizing what beliefs and thoughts we have that keep us limited and suffering in some way, then we can analyze and contemplate the circumstances that created that belief for us...so we can begin to understand the circumstances of our lives...then we can begin to have an understanding of how things are really working in our universe as apposed to how we've "percieved" them working... ....and then we begin to release all of those "small selves" which keep our energy locked up in the past and our perpectives locked in a particular direction or breadth (a particular way of seeing things and reacting)....and as we do this more and more, that closet of ours gets emptier and where there is "space" there is "grace" or in other words...when you create spaciousness within your mind...the space will fill with what's left behind from the closet "detox" and that is the light of your inner being...otherwise known as the essence of the Source of all beings. And this is the experience of living in integrity with your Soul and it's desires which stem from the Divine Will. When all of our actions are born from this inner light, we become a clear expression of our Divine nature. And it's through the rising of the Kundalini energy that this process begins to take place. As for spiderwebs on the face...I think you would work with it the same way you would work with a sensation occuring in your body, rather than in the aura....by simply "allowing" without "thinking" about it ("humph? I wonder what this means? wow, that really tickles!,I don't like this, something must be wrong etc) this is an example of thinking about the sensation...just physically experience the sensation, allowing it through the senses to simply be..noticing the sensation of the spiderweb as much as you notice the sensation of "nothingness" in your right foot, for example....and eventually you'll experience some forward movement..things will evolve in some way..."how" it will evolve? you won't know until it happens. Wishing you all Light on your journey, Sat Sangeet
Guest guest
Sat Nam Sat Sangeet I teach a young child 10 yrs. And during his relaxation he saw people dying and being stabbed. I asked him if he had been watching news lately, violent movies, or playing video games to which the answer was no. At his age, should I suggest that he experience the sensations as scary as it may be or suggest he talk it over with his therapist that he is seeing. He is very bright and one of my best students. He was extremely calm explaining his visions with me. He has come a long way. In fact, we did the EFT as a class one day telling him how much we all deeply loved him and accept him. It was a real turning point for him. By the way, Thanks for the website on EFT in earlier post. The children were asking to do the exercises again and I needed to refresh my memory. I love it when the information I need seems to magically appear when I need it. Blessings to all. Your post uplift me every day. Guest guest
Sat Nam Susie, That was actually Cheryl who gave us the website on EFT (So thank you Chery!!) I think explaining the process of allowing and not feeding thoughts with more of the same kind of thoughts would be beneficial at any age... For this particular circumstance that you are speaking of....I think I would make sharing the above information just part of my regular class..put in a way that 10 yr olds could relate to it and just see whether this little boy can make the connection and apply that to what he is experiencing or not. The other thing I would do...is just be a "safe" non-reactionary place for him to express himself....regardless of what the "content" of his expression is. And if he is seeing a therapist, when something like this comes up, I would probably suggest that he talk to the therapist about the imagery...because it is a road into his feelings. I think it's really important to send the message that all feelings we experience are valid and need to be experienced...and then teach people how to experience and work with them effectively..so that we don't become reactionary to them and begin "acting" them out in our enviroments/unleashing them on ohers and creating harm etc. It's an act of self care, self responsibility and self love. When I was in my first SNR class...I remember having one visual after another of death and dying and coffins and you name it! I think I remember my teacher saying at the time, without me expressing any of this to him, something like..."If you were thinking about death and dying while you were lying there...don't worry about that, that's really normal" and then he had an explanation for it, of which I can no longer fully remember. But the point was...I was thinking to myself..Oh my god! what's wrong with me, why am I thinking this?? And in one sentence he let me know, there was nothing to be concerned about, everythings fine and having feelings and thoughts about "anything" was perfectly normal and a healthy experience! I hope that helps....I'm sure there are other people who can advise you as well... All light and blessings Susie, Sat Sangeet bootsee59 wrote:Sat Nam Sat Sangeet I teach a young child 10 yrs.
