Guest guest
Greetings to all, After hearing how long it takes to get a spriitual name, I'm shocked, elated and ecstatic to be able to tell you that after about 3 weeks, I have received my name! I just now opened it, so I haven't had a chance to meditate on it yet, but something tells me that my work is really cut out for me this time. My name: Swami Kaur; the princess who is the master. It seems such a tall order for such a small person. What am I in for here? Blessings, Sat Nam, Swami Kaur The only limitations I have are those I impose upon myself. _______________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
Guest guest
Sat Nam Swami Kaur! It is a very beautiful name..and honourable too! From what I know the order of swamis in India is actually an order of monks...I don't know if that has anything to do with your name but just for extra info.. Guest guest
Congrats Swami Kaur, Yogiji has said that Swami means quick. He said that when we have a thought we have seven seconds to decide what to do with it. Guest guest
Swami: Swa = Self (also: sva) (swadyaya=self study, swadistana (2nd chakra)=city/residence of the self) -mi = a suffix indicating first person, usually past tense; so in Swami, one who has gone beyond Self or left the Self behind, is no longer the Self Self Realized ong.so hung.ranjit. _______________ Help STOP SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
