Spiritual Name?

Dear Rama,

I believe he gives a really good look at how your natural name sounds,

what syllables' vibration it brings along as well as the Akara

numerology of your birth date. I was reading how he gave the name to

Gurmukh, at the first site of seeing her, so probably when it's a visual

contact he can read the aura and colors of physiology and he hears the

name whispered to him.

To me it was interesting that my spiritual name starts and ends with the

same letters as my birth name, and my last name has TA (LIFE EXISTENCE)

and RA (SUN), and actually it has "MOORAT" (UNDYING), TOO.

Rama,

I asked my teacher awhile back about this...I knew that it was based

somewhat on your numerology, but I found myself wondering if

everyone born on the same day has the same name?

His answer: based on numerology "and" the insight of the Master

(Yogi Bhajan)

For instance...Sangeet and I have different birthdates but our

number combinations all add up to the same numbers...so that's why

are names are very similar.

And we both a had very different experiences when we recieved

them..she was elated and I was swimming in the sewers! for a good 4

months! ha ha! (For the record...I'm out now! ha ha!)

Sat nam,

I'll share a personal story. I don't know whether

the SSS does this with everybody but ... I called him

to tell him of the birth of my daughter (she's nearly

18 now)and after the polite amenities between a

student and his teacher he congratulated me and my

wife on bringing another saint into the world (he was

also very instrumental in that-- another story

entirely)then there was this long pause on the line,

almost as if it had gone dead or onto another

plane of existence. I felt myself or my aura being

drawn up to my full height and breadth and then this

voice (one I had never hear before from deep in the

cosmos perhaps) came over the line with "Guru Shabd

Kaur". I dared not hang up of course and could only

whisper "Thank you sir" and then his normal, strong

and authoritative voice came back, cheerfully and

said, "Sat Nam, ji, God bless you." And he hung up.
