Guest guest
Dharam, I find it really interesting how you said you didn't really relate to other Sikhs when you went to Achorage. I found exactly the same thing when I went to Master's Touch last Fall - in fact it was one of the most challening aspects of the course for me. I felt like a fish out of water the entire time, and in fact didn't feel like myself at all. It was a big shock because I had expected the opposite. It wasn't my first time to be part of a spiritual group, so it made it all the more shocking. I never really made any deep connections with anyone I didn't previously know. This was underscored by an email corrospondance I had with one of the participants - she was trying to place who I was and when she eventually made the connection her comment was "you were quiet and reserved'. Believe me, no-one who knows me would make that comment ! I'm very outgoing and talkative !!!! I still don't know what to make of it all. I was much happier getting home and doing my sadhana by myself !!!!!!! Though I loved the workshops and teachers. Any thoughts or comments? Guest guest
What's your numerology? Tell me your full birthday. There most likely would be something there. We are all individuals with varying constitutions. Master's Touch is intense and the energy leans toward BIG. Eights and Tens! My experience with Anchorage and maybe the Dharma, in general in those earlier days, had to do more with the age and cultural differences. The Reagan eighties scared me because I saw a lot of really cool people becoming like their parents. Real conservative with a house , 2 car payments and all that "conspicuous consumption" really turned me off. Yet, a day later I was on fire having gotten my name and a whole new relationship/orientation to my deep self. My overall character number is a ten, so even though I have a lot of Three energy (cream puff - teddy bear, lets rent a video) I can go into warrior mode, if it's clean, pure fun. Guest guest
Dharam, My b-date is 5th November 1956. I have soul 5 karma 11, gift 11, destiny 3, path 10. I suppose the best way to describe how I felt in NM is disconnected. I found it very upsetting, but then I also felt it was good for me to walk alone, and not to expect to feel connected to the human aspect of other seekers. Any light you could shed would be much appreciated ! Avtar. ______________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
