Guest guest Posted March 3, 2003 Report Share Posted March 3, 2003 Sat Nam ya'll, AS is customary around this time of year I go out and buy myself a birthday present. For some reason, this year, I had a huge compulsion to buy a new bookshelf sized stereo. Ok fine, I hadn't updated my audio equipment since I started having hearing problems 10 years ago. SO that night, I pop in a meditation tape to sleep by. AS I lay in bed listening to the stereo in the living room I thought to myself, "What a lovely string quintet." Then it struck me that I actually could hear all five voices of the strings!! I could hear four of them with my 90% deaf side alone! Now, I'm far from seeing Jesus in a tortilla or saying that KY has actually caused the bones in my inner ear to regrow, but I was still amazed! I think it's mainly a matter of KY helping me stay present and pay more attention to the world around me. Le Cool, huh? I've already which friend I'm gonna strong-arm into getting me a copy of Jap Sahib. In fact I think I'll email her now. Ya'll be good to yourselves - hear? Life's pains make all the waters murky and unclear. Psychotherapy, yoga, Sun Dances (ouch!) all help to make everything clear again so that we can taste our Soul, whether in a tortilla or not.
