Guest guest Posted March 3, 2003 Report Share Posted March 3, 2003 I am looking to find a teacher in the Northampton, MA area who is especially adept at working with cancer patients. My friend has recently been diagnosed as terminal with brain stem tumor. He had previously attended a class a few weeks ago(he has never taken yoga before), however he didn't really feel comfortable in a class environment and I gather the teacher tried to get him to divulge too much personal information to the entire class. I referred him to the one name listed in Northampton on the 3HO website... but I wasn't sure if that was the teacher who made him feel uncomfortable. I live in NY, and don't know MA too well. Perhaps there is a Kundalini Yoga center in Northampton area (he lives in a town called Ware) and/or Boston (it's a bit of a trek for him, but his medical doctors are there, so it's not undo-able for him).
