Guest guest
Sat Nam... I have something brewing in me about Love. I think it was 2 years ago, my teacher gave us a course and the topic was "Love". We did a meditation where we projected the thought "I am love in action" and then we allowed ourselves to experience a "waking" dream around how that might manifest in our lives or what our lives might look like if that became a truth by which we lived. I've never forgotten those words..."to be love in action"...they cross my mind several times a day and it has become the ruler by which I measure my every action. Some days I flow easily with it and other days I falter and struggle...but I believe, in time, I always manage to find my way back and to realign myself with this truth and to live it fully in my present capacity. And I understand as time flows my capacity to live this truth grows more present. I recently had an experience during meditation that opened my eyes to the "love energy" from a different perspective. I am beginning to understand "God" as a lover of the Soul. Let me tell you about my experience... I had been contemplating effective communication prior to beginning my sadhana...I began to meditate...the first thing I heard was in response to communication in a verbal sense I suppose...I heard the words.."spinning silk with your tongue"...I contemplated this and continued to chant... and then another stream of words began to emerge...."when you stand before me, come clean"....chanting, chanting, chanting..."come to me naked and stand before me". I began to have the understanding, to be love in your every action is to be fully merged with the "pure" vibration of love...other wise known as the "Source". And you need to prepare accordingly for such a merger...clean the body...clean the mind...come naked, meaning make your vessel clean and pure...Sattvic. Every attachment in my mind that I hold is like a garment of clothing standing between me and my Divine lover...preventing a pure merger from occurring. I began to understand ...when you sit down to meditate, be willing to drop your identification with yourself (ego) and stand naked before the Light...that's the only way a full merger is possible. More words began to emerge from the space..."life becomes a foreplay in preparation for the final act of love...union with the Divine". Every action and word spoken becomes a precursor leading you either towards or away from the final act of integration with your Divine lover. ....I coninue to chant and the words flow through my consciousness..."prepare yourself, sattva being, the time is now...come into being...live as love". At this point you might be thinking to yourself.."this is quite a meditation I am having!! Stick with me.. it gets even more exciting! (just writing about this I am getting all flushed! ha ha!) This might be a crazy aside, but I remember thinking..this is where the words "to make love" come from in describing intercourse. As a child hearing those words, I always thought it was the goofiest expression! But now I realize...in the act of Divine Union, you align yourself with the creative flow of the universe (which is the love energy) and together with God...you begin to "make love" in your life as a result. And in that moment, I remembered some lyrics in a, yet to be recorded song, written by M.S.S. Livtar Singh, titled Walk upon the marble... "In the tank of Harimandir, Life becomes a prayer, Soul becomes the lover, God is everywhere." This idea that when you live in a prayerful existence, Soul becomes your lover and the result is that, God, permeates every part of your existence in a pure sense. You become one with the flow of all. During this entire meditation though, there was a certain tangible ambiance in the air that went along with the words that were being spoken...I felt as if, the words, emerging from the space were the whisper of a lover in my ear....it was like a seduction was occurring...but one of a heavenly kind! I felt the breath of the Divine caressing my shoulders...I felt as if the tables had turned suddenly..and now the Divine was in pursuit of me in this moment...seducing and inviting me in every moment that passed to come more fully into this merger. It's hard for me to fully describe the experience because I find I do not have "subtle" enough words in my vocabulary to share the full experience. At any rate...an experience like that..reminds me in my "karma filled" hours of the ultimate target for which I aim in my life and my actions. Ha ha! May we all not only be pursued by the Divine...but be fully seduced!! (LOL)!! Sat Sangeet Kaur

Guest guest
Sat Nam Sean, I think the key words are "keep up'...and I think sometimes we are looking for sirens and horns during meditation and we miss the subtle beauty of the moment as well...every meditation experience is what it is....what we get is what we get! As my teacher says.."God is ALWAYS lurking" it's whether we can be aware of it or not. Like I've said in the past we are constantly gaining momentum in every moment of practice to move towards that Divine union...some people need "alot" of momentum but when it's just right..."boom!" you'll make a quantum leap forward. The Divine is not out of any of our reaches..we just need to keep stretching! in every moment... Yes...I teach and have been practicing for the past 4 years...I am very consistent with my practice, continue to take classes from my teacher (and am deeply blessed in this opportunity)...just as an aside...one thing I take great pleasure in...is sitting at the "feet" of my teacher...even when there are chairs open and availble..I choose the floor...my preference, always is to sit at the "feet of Knowlegde". Now I've hit something weird on my keyboard and my font has changed! I don't know how to fix it! Ha ha! this is strange? I am going to "heal" my technical block yet! I also have been studying, practicing and recieving Sat Nam Rasayan healing for the past 3.5 years, which I believe has had a huge hand in any transformation I have experienced thus far. I also know white tantric yoga to be the "push" forward that was required in my life...I can't say enough about it really....why be limited by your subconscious if you have an opportunity to cleanse it? And I think you're right Sean....you "will" see...if you keep up..it's a given. All light and many blessings to you, Sat Sangeet sean green <earlierdays wrote:Sat Nam Sangeet, Wow thats quite a meditation experience.... how long have you been practicing kundalini yoga for? you are a teacher right? Guest guest
Thanks for the reply Sangeet, as you say god is always lurking, cause when meditate, i just start to feel better, i start to feel different. It's definatley a nice feeling even if im not close to the divine. I believe later on in my life i will search for a teacher. That's an interesting job you have there, you should be thankful. I'm sure you are. You posts on this message board are very helpful in areas i have no knowledge in. I thank all of you who contribute your words and thoughts to this board. They are inspiring. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Someone asked about Sat Nam Rasayan. The meditation that I gave in the most recent New Millennium Being on "Reality Revolution." contains some of the basic principles. Patiently practice what I have shared there and you will understand what SNR is. You have to do it to know it. If you did not get the latest issue #62 to KYtraining and you will get the next on. All back ones can be gotten on autoresponder on www.yogatech.com/nmb/. Everyone should read this issue!!! > And I think you're right Sean....you "will" see...if you keep up..it's a given. The awesome thing about KY is all you have to do is do it and it works. Actually doing it is half of it. The other half is doing it and experiencing the effects consciously. That is the challenging part. Practice the meditation mentioned above and you will see what I mean about consciousness being the hard part. But it is the fun part! Guest guest
And keep in mind Sean.."the teacher" can enter your life in many forms...it's not always a physical person..."the Guru" is any teaching etc that takes you from darkness to the light. Guest guest
I do suppose that is true, as it is not neccesary to have a teacher in order to become enlightened. It's always nice for someone who knows what they are doing to guide you through your practices. Guest guest
You bet! Having constant support and guidance is wonderful....I wouldn't have wanted it any other way...if I had the option of choosing! Practicing within a group is also a wonderful experience...in the beginning many students complain that they can't get the "energy" going on there own at home the way they feel it when in class...but in time that does change. What's nice about this on line group is that you have no borders to "feeling" a group energy..or guidance or support...if you want to access it. It can be your "surrogate" classroom.
