What you are asking is a beautiful question. It is one that had I asked for

years and years. I would ask myself, "how is it that Yogiji would know

[intuitively] what a person needed with such precision?". A huge part of the

answer is in Vedic studies, (for fun do a search for Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur

Veda, Atharva Veda) and particularly Ayurveda, which has its background in the

Vedas. Yogiji is a Master of this traditional system. Interestingly enough Yoga

is called "Vedic Science". Get a hold of a good book by Robert Swoboda, Vasant

Lad or David Frawley. A lot will become clear to you. The same Rishis who

codified Yoga also saw the play of "Nature" within everything around them. The

elements, the tatwas in all their manifestations, the original creative force

and all of it's manifestations. There is an order to it all, and the more you

can

understand it, the more you can make sense of what a human can go through

whether they are doing yoga or not.
