Sat NAm Shiva,

 

You said it in your subject line, 'Improve the breath', only I'd say

'work on exanding your lung power'. Maybe with stretch pose, other BOF

excercises.

 

I began with the One Minute Breath meditation, and had little trouble

getting to 20. My advice is that if you're not close to 15--close

enough to work up to 20-- then start working on your lung capacity. And

its much easier to do this meditation, with a very slow even inhale and

exhale, almost like sipping air. I counted seconds using 'Wahe Guru' as

one second (mentally chant).

 

Maybe you can find a kriya for lung capacity?

One of my favorite kriyas is "New Lungs & Circulation" it is very

challenging, but you can work your times up gradually. I don't know what

manual it is in, though -- anyone?
