Guest guest
Sat Nam...Everyone... After meditation this morning I had a few thoughts flow together which relate to what Seva Simran posted and Shiv Antar's call for affirmative action in the world domain. Each one of our physical bodies are a manifestation of the Earth and all the dynamics that the people on the Earth struggle with...meaning...when we have "trouble" within our bodies and minds...that will be reflected in our global situation. Viewing your individual body as the "whole of the universe" allows you to have a global perspective and understanding of what processes you can undertake to bring about positive solutions in the world. As Seva Simran said..it requires that we have a strong Soul base...if you don't relate to your Soul...you need to begin doing things that "will" relate you to your Soul. Without that foundation (an identification with your higher self), there is no support for when you fall down and no light that calls you forward, towards ascension into the light. Kundalini Yoga is a technology to connect people with their Souls...teach people this...be the "light" that reminds people of their Soul consciousness. When we have a strong Soul base, prosperity will flourish on top of this...the word "prosperity" means "pro-spirit"....when I speak of prosperity I'm not speaking "cash flow" so much as being "prosperous" with one another....boundless. Consciousness knows, no boundaries. Just as we can mediate our own responses, in our lives, through developing the "meditative mind" (witnessing mind), we can have a "hand" in mediating ,on a larger scale, world responses. We do that by aligning our personal consciousnesses with the Divine will (which will begin to happen when you cultivate the meditative mind). When we "raise" the bar in our own personal consciousnesses, we raise the bar, of the world or global consciousness. Everytime you meditate or do something that aligns your consciousness with the Divine, you are not only doing it for you, you are part of the whole, you contribute, what you contribute, to it. This can be a ruler by which you measure your actions in life. What is your contribution? Cultivate your ability to track your mind, "know thyself" and contribute to the Light. May you have all blessings of illumination and transformation, Sat Sangeet Kaur
