Guest guest
I just bought the book KUNDALINI: THE ESSENCE OF YOGA by Guru Dharam Singh Kalsa & Darryl O'Keeffe. It has a couple of meditations for each of the ten bodies and exercise sets for each of the chakras. It has a guide in the beginning to help you figure out which ones you should be working on. Its a pretty good book. I recommend it. RaMa Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam, The KY sets given to us by Yogi Bhajan work on a lot of things at the same time. And even if they emphasize the navel chakra they will simultaneously work on all the lower three chakras. Then there are one or more exercises that integrate the lower chakra energy into the whole body and up the spine. If you compare the exercises in the sets for the 10 bodies and the sets that are aimed at accomplishing specific goals, you will see that many of the same exercises reappear. In other words, you are getting a lot for you efforts, just by doing a kryia. I like what Pieter said once, just do different sets and you will get the benefits from each that together will open up your consciousness and sensitivity. (paraphrased). Attention is also very important. If we want to build our radiant body (number 10) when we can pay attention to how our energy feels inside and how it projects out. But that also helps us cultivate the empowered aspects of the positive, negative and neutral minds. In sum, everything is related. Do a set for 40 days, pick another and keep going. Cultivate consciousness with whatever you do. I use the same set to accomplish different goals. It just depends on what you want to cultivate at the time.
