Guest guest
first of all Thank you RaMa Kaur for your suggestion on the book. And second, are the sets for the individual chakras the same as a set for one or any of the 10 bodies? so is their a difference between chakra, to a body which is the level of a chakra? thank you, Siri Tapa Kaur
Guest guest
One of the important things to remember when doing kundalini yoga is that it is about yoga - union. With all the information about chakras, bodies, organs and processes of different kinds it is very easy to fragment our thinking. We can lose the unity we seek by getting lost in the technology that is supposed to produce that unity! That is what was happening during the time of Guru Nanak, whose son, Baba Siri Chand, reunified yoga under the one unified field of consciousness projected by Guru Ram Das. The process of kundalini yoga is primarily experiental. By doing what we are drawn towards doing, intuitively, with feeling rather than intellect, then experiencing it, we gain union. Then the understanding of the chakra and body energy is obtained by side-effect. That is what has worked for me. It also makes sense technically because there is a flow of energy through the chakras and bodys related to time and by being intuitive about it you naturally go where the flow of energy is saying you need to go in respect to the bodys and chakras. You can then integrate the resulting awareness into your consciousness and move towards mastery. Seva Simran
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Thank you Sevasimran Singh for your explanation. Very well explained! Then the understanding of the chakra > and body energy is obtained by side-effect. That is what has worked > for me. It also makes sense technically because there is a flow of > energy through the chakras and bodys Thats what works for me too. I get almost all of my information from what I experience in my being. I get an experience and then I can write about it and teach it. Frankly it doesn't make that much difference what set I do. I go to class with an intention of what experience I will seed for my classes. Then I pick almost any set. It always works. The energy flows, the consciousness awakens and we all become more aware. It is so much fun. Last night we experienced stablity. Everyone got it in their particular way. They all had an experience. I just opened Relax and renew and there was a great set. I used it to create the experience of inner stability. I could have used almost any set. KY is so awesome. Go for the experience, not the explanation. Choose the experience of the 10 bodies, chakras or whatever that you want, set your intention, pay attention and let KY help you expand your awareness to include that goal.
