Guest guest
Sat Nam all, I recently started doing a set for negativity. I think it is on page 85 but forgot to check before i left for work, which is where my computer is. Anyway, it is the one that begins with the hands in gian mudra with one arm up at 60 degrees and ends standing on the toes with the hands above the head in inverted venus hold. My question is: whenever I do this set, it feels like it is not complete, like there should be something more to it. I also noticed that instructions for many of the other sets end with a comment of some sort and this one does not. Has anybody else tried this set? Could I be doing some of the exercises wrong and that might leave me with the feeling of incompletion? I would appreciate any insights. Many thanks, Karin
Guest guest
Dear Karin, I have always done this set as a refresher and then did a meditation afterwards. Follow it with an 11 minutes meditation and see what you experience. And let us know. Sat Nam, Gururattan Kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam Karin, I practice this one often with my classes and like Gururattan, after long deep relaxation, I follow with a meditation .....But I've always prefaced it with a series of spinal warm ups (such as the ones found on pg 28 or 30 I believe in "transitions..."?) (including some stretch pose...I believe Gururattan suggests that you don't have to practice all of the warm ups she's has listed..but to practice them in the sequence that she has listed them). Hope that helps as well, Sat Sangeet Karin Wigen <karin_wigen wrote:Sat Nam all, I recently started doing a set for negativity.
