Hi Folks

 

I am writing to make a request to everyone. This list has members from every

continent, and exists for the discussion of Kundalini Yoga and connected

spiritual matters. It is not a forum for political issues or a vehicle for

anti-war protest.

 

I received an email from one of you tonight. I will quote part of it here:

 

"There seems to be a feeling among spiritually minded people that we should all

oppose the war, and I find this very insulting. We are all perfectly capable of

making up our own minds and don't need to be told by anyone else how to think,

or what we should think. Time will tell who is right, and in the meantime the

war will continue no matter what anyone here says. I have a daughter serving

with the 101st Airborne in Kuwait (we are not even American citizens) and I feel

bombarded enough in the media without hearing it on the list as well. It's

adding considerably to the stress and that is not what I joined this forum

for."

 

So please have regard for the feelings of others. Keep politics off this list.

There are plenty of places where you can express your opinions about the war.

This is not one of them.
