Guest guest
Hello, Why is it so important to do K. Yoga in the specific sets (kriyas?) in which they are taught? I bought a couple of K. yoga books would really like to pick a few postures from each page, not all of the group. Thanks, Steven Platinum - Watch CBS' NCAA March Madness, live on your desktop! http://platinum.
Guest guest
Sat Nam Steven, The sets are to be done as they are presented, they each have an effect on certain organs, glands etc.. Done seperately they're just yoga postures, not Kundalini Yoga. The kriyas have a designed effect that you will only get by doing the kriya. Guest guest
Sat Nam Steven, I have a little experience to share on the subject. I was helping my mother-in-law with her diet and exercise for stress and her diabetes, not in the blind, I've done some research. I wrote down instructions for her for a set for glandular balance, I forgot to write down the last step and didn't realize it for a few days. I called her as soon as I remembered, she sounded really stressed. She said she hadn't slept in days, she had too much energy, uncomfortable nervous energy. The last step was just to lay flat on the back and tuck the chin into the chest, but it made a huge difference on her energy. I got her Nirvair Singh's video instead, I'm a little reluctant anymore to give advice on kundalini exercises, when people ask. I'm sure there are a few you can do alone, but I wouldn't risk it.
