Hi Nirmal,

Anything other then the set as described in the teaching manual is

getting off the trail. The thing to remember is that a student who is

doing this science, after having tuned in is already busy with the

process at hand. Let that experience BE as it is. Finish the layout, do

the Long Time Sun and then you can invite folks to partake in massage,

tuning forks, hatha or anything else, or you can do it before class. I

am touchy, feeling kind of person and I have to pull myself back a lot.

Sometimes people have tremendous energy flowing through them and they

may not even realize it, there is sometimes some real deep stuff right

on the surface. You don't want to engage them in that way. Let them

bring themselves out of it using their own effort. You hold the space,

that's all.

I am reminded how important this is by something I did back in '92.

We were having White Tantric in Cambridge, Mass. Shakti Parwha Kaur was

facilitating. I was being a monitor that day. The group was in the last

"posture" of the Tantric. It was a chanting meditation while on their

backs. One woman was singing really, really badly. I mean it was wrong

in pacing, intonation, pronunciation and seemed in some ways

intentional. It was a major distraction to everyone within earshot. I

thought that maybe it was my responsibility to somehow bring this person

back to an awareness of this "problem". I went over to this person,

who's eyes were closed, and bent down and very quietly whispered to her,

without touching her, "Sat Nam, could you.....", and what happened next

was off the map! She yelled/screamed from some deep place in her gut

that it basically stopped the tantric for a few very intense moments.

People, including Shakti, looked at me liked I had done something really

wrong, like rape. They couldn't know...their eyes were closed. I learned

a really major lesson that day. Some major imbalances were right there

on the surface for her. Past stuff, past life, God knows.

We can't know what is going on for people, and they most likely

aren't even be aware of it themselves. Let the technology work by

itself. "Water finds it's own level"

I have heard of other teachers having experiences that point to the

same awareness.

Dharam
