Guest guest
Satnam Dharam and others, I could not help giggling at your tantric experience Dharam.. not because it is funny but because I have had many tantric experiences and each one is one of it's own. My theory on the whole thing is go by intuition and by what is the rule of Tantric. This theory does not promise safty to you or the rest of the group... but as a monitor you should do what is best for everyone and face the music as it comes. We depend on you monitors to protect the space.. One guy was trying to impress his girlfriend at tantric who was sitting next to us and chanting so loud it was hurting my husband's ears and totally distracting me and those next to us.It was obvious his ego was out of control. My husband looked at me and had no choice but to lean over and ask him to tone it down.He could not be politically correct and suffer for an hour with his hands up after he had driven for two days to enjoy his tantric... It is nerve racking to have to do this because of everyone's space but you have to do what you think is right and take the karmic results. The people next to that woman might have been able to go a lot deeper in the meditation especially if it was an hour meditation.Who needs to hear that for an hour... I understand where she was.. I have been there and have decided to just let it go...No problem.. just stay sane and do it a little quieter?? unless of course she was totally of ..in which case some one did need to bring her back to a meditative space.Sanity comes for centering. It is the yogic way.. You might have stabilized her from going to far ?? Tantric is about working on our neurosis.. not indulging in it. We are yogis and we should always try to protect our space and respect the other people's space at the same time. Momentary lapses of loud laughing, screaming moving ect. are allowed. However just remember the person next to you might not think it is funny, might be enjoying the depth of the meditation.Well I am still recovering from one person's watch alarm going of during tantric every hour and freaking my aura out.I asked him to please take it of and he said I was to sensitive...I felt very shaky after that tantric and I know it hurt me. I rest my case. Yogis are not born alike... Monitors are supposed to be neutral educated warriors and protect us from ourselves and insensitive ones...It is a dangerous job but you did your best as you thought fit.I respect that.
