Hey Laurel,

My personal motto used to be, "When in Danger, or in Doubt, Run in

Circles, Scream and Shout!" I spent many years living from crisis to crisis

and panic to panic. This eventually became so intrusive in my day-to-day

living that I had to find a way to deal with it. So now I have what I call

my Dithering Time Table. Flat tire? Scream and shout for 5 minutes, then

deal with the solution. Different times for different events.

I figured that was a part of me which needed expression. Sure we can

talk about giving up attachments and the nature of loss in the human

experience, but that doesn't really help me much when I'm "in the middle of

it". I'm one of those kinesthetic people who seems to process thing

physically first, so my Dither Table allows me to release that physical

sense of panic which accompanies virtually every change in my life. It gets

better with time. Personally I've found the Smiling Buddha Meditation and

the Meditation for Gurprasad especially useful. Good Luck! Blessed be!
