Hi Y'all,

For the past few days I have been suffering from a burning in my stomach.

It's caused by stress and when the source is removed it will go away as

it has in the past. However, there is nothing I can do about the source

so I need to manage it as best I can. I know an alkaline diet is

indicated and I'm striving for that, but apart from scarfing antacids has

anyone any ideas on how to treat the immediate symptoms ? I've started

taking DGL (licorice) this morning. Any thoughts on this from any

viewpoint would be greatly appreciated.

Blessings,

Avtar

Knowing the source is good. A lot one can do, once that is looked at.

Alkaline diet is also good, no matter who we are.

Do a search in the archives for "Vatskar Kriya" or online. It is

specifically for over-acidity in the stomach and working out tensions in

the mid section.

Let me know if you can't find it.

Dear Avtar

Try http://www.drdavidwilliams.com/ he has a scroll down index - go to

digestive aid.

Contrary to popular belief it is now suggested to take enzymes and

acidophyllus.

Dr. Johathon Wright's newslettter just covered the same thing more

extensively. (must be a r though)

My son-in-law had the same problem and it's helped him.

Fondly,

Ruth

PS: see where someone suggested vinegar - yes, that will/should do the

trick in most cases.
