Sat Nam All

Ive practice different forms of yoga consciously for about 8 years

now.

Im now 38 years of age.

However when I was a teenager I was fairly athletic and

exercised some usually everyday. When I was about 3 to 5 years old I would

watch the Jack LaLane

show--at this age I did know know it was yoga related. Jack LaLane was the

only thing that came on early in the Mornig that wasnt news or a talk show at

the time. Thus

when I was a teanager I incoperated some of Jack LaLanes exercises into my

routien. Still not knowing that it was yoga related until about 8 years ago.

At this time in my life I ate any thing I wanted to. And did so untill 8

years ago.

Since then I try to be as much of a vegitarian as possible. I

will do well for a month or two or maybe even 6 to 8 months --then I have a

relapse. I miss

the food I grew up on. I have also time after time tried to quit drinking

soda pop--my true adiction. In a way I look at it this way I am not addicted

to any other substance

so thats good and I dont drink coffie. I have gone from drinking 3 24 oz

sodas a day

down to usually only 3 24 oz sodas a week. And occasionally i might go a

month or longer without any.

As far as life upheavals go I have had my share. However I have

never conected them to spiritual matters much. However after my first one

month stay at a Ashram I did come home and quit my job. Due to the fact that

my job did not have any set schedule what so ever and in order for me to do

some good yoga practice and

fix and eat proper food the job had to go. I also had severe allergies at the

time and after 6 months of retuning to a regular rutien doing asanas and

eating a better diet --all my alergy symptoms went away.

Have a Great Day Everyone...................Kimberly K.
