Guest guest
sat nam! i have been having serious psychological problems with the throat chakra lately,i.e., serious creativity blocks, confusion over my voice, fear of singing, which i am very talented at, etc. and found a very good set in the book "The Kundalini Yoga Experience" by Guru Dharam S. Khalsa and Darryl O'Keefe corresponding to the healing of the fifth chakra. I have been practicing it for 3 weeks now and it has helped me tremendously at my confidence cincerning all my communication and creativity issues, and i am confident that it would probably help out the physical side of the throat chakra. I believe i saw the book available on e-bay but if you cannot find it, i can type out a copy of the directions for you. hope this helps...good luck and may healing come to you!!! -Lisa
Guest guest
One of the best ways to clear the throat chakra is to take some salt water in the mouth, and gently brush the back of your throat and the sides of the back of the throat, every morning when you brush your teeth and, before having any breakfast (I have come across quite a few people who brush their teeth after breakfast!!). This will clear up the mucus in the throat, releasing the tensions in the neck. There were quite a lot of discussions on this. And, Dharam had more things on this cleaning the "monkey glands", as he mentioned it. Check the archives. You might also want to try the gajakarni, and the jalneti. This will clear up the mucus in the nasal region, and the entire mucous lining in the stomach and food pipe. Again, check the archives for details on these. gai Platinum - Watch CBS' NCAA March Madness, live on your desktop! http://platinum.
Guest guest
I have a related problem to congestion. I have tinnitus and constant ear congestion. The mucus drains constantly into the back of my throat. And. when it doesn't, I am in pain. My energy work healer always says my throat chakra is blocked, but I always respond more when we do work with other chakras. I am doing a lot of cleansing work associated with a dissapating tumor, so lymph is also an issue - and kidneys and liver. Guest guest
Tinnitus (ringing sensation in the ear) is most often experienced NOT BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM IN THE EAR, but because of a problem in the surrounding regions of the ear. You have a cough problem, or a cold, or eye infection, or headaches or gum pains, chances are they are accompanied with tinnitus. This is because the surrounding muscles around the ear are tense and dehydrated, pulling and tensing the inner ear in turn (thereby squeezing the inner ear). There is more wax generated inside the ear for more lubrication, leading to more "gaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnn" sounds in the ear. If the muscles surrounding/connected to the ear region are relaxed, tinnitus can also be solved. This is my analysis, from my experiences. You may want to try the facial exercises I had mailed earlier (look up archives). This will definitely improve blood circulation to all parts in the head, including inner ears.
