Sat Nam Steven,

In addition to your sets; Ayurvedic Treatment of the nadis involved may also

help.

Sexual imbalance (svadhisthana chakra) in Ayurvedic medicine relates to Kapha

out of balance. Do you know what your constitution is? This is Kapha season,

depending on where you live(?) your environment could be contributing to the

imbalance also. On a psychological level the svadhisthana is the seat of

desire.Treating the Kuhu (reproductive channel) by massage or application of

oil to perineum and urethra is helpful and brahmi oil is excellent for giving

control of the sexual function.

A root chakra (muladhara) disorder is normally Vata out of balance. The root

chakra deals with the apana vayu ( downward moving force; elimination) and

the metabolism of earth-which is inadequate in Vata types. On a psychological

level it related to ignorance and fear. The Alambusha can also be treated

with oil massage to the elimination site. The Alambusha is considered the

next most important channel after the Sushumna.

There are lots of other ways to bring your dosha back into balance and any

good book on Ayurveda will help, or if you are interested I would be happy to

suggest a few of them. :)

Blessings and keep up!

Rebecca
