Guest guest
Sat Nam, I had a female student last night questioning Yogi Bhajan"s quote that a woman is 16 times stronger than a man. She did not understand or agree. I told her that I was not sure but strength is not just physical but spiritual and inner stamina. I felt that is what YB was talking about. Can someone help? Thanks Brian- Wisconsin Mehtab Singh

Guest guest
Sat Nam Mehtab....is the quote 16 times stronger or 16 times more intuitive? (more intuitive is the quote I remember hearing?) And it's to do with women being able be more easily in touch or aware of their feelings..... I think it has something to do with man's nature being one of constancy....so if he is unable to be sensitive to his feelings....his tendency will continue to be insensitive.....BUT...if he finally makes a jump into that realm of sensitivity, because of his steadfastness in staying consistent, he then I believe would be, just AS untuitive as a woman is AND he'd have staying power to boot! Where as a woman, I believe, due to her rhythms and cycles could be all over the map, when out of balance, interms of being very intuitive in one moment and then not being able to "divine" what the weather will be like today, as she's staring into the Sun! Maybe that helps? Sat Sangeet brian kilton <bkilton wrote:Sat Nam, I had a female student last night questioning Yogi Bhajan"s quote that a woman is 16 times stronger than a man. Guest guest
SAT NAM)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Yogi Bhajan is my Friend and I love em with light. Like to many people to many movies and television. I quit watching TV months ago because it is negative along with not watching any movies which take up so much valuable time we need to be working on ourselves Every one is going to wake up and be ready with practice of Kundalini Yoga or not ready and be like the dinasaurs when they mostly died with constipation so digest all of this wonderful information (don't digress) and practice. I LOVE YOU ALL
Guest guest
Hi Sat Sangeet, The exact quote is in The Teachings of Yogi Bhajan on page 28 (#64) . "People who have the idea that a woman is a weak and frail creature do not know what a woman is. A woman is sixteen times stronger than a man" Yogi Bhajan. My wife knows she is stronger than me but my student has doubts:<). FYI- This is an excellent book with 783 Truths by Yogi Bhajan. I have been reading and re-reading for over 20 years and with each new reading a new understanding of life( available at yogatech below). Um!...yes..we are talking about two different quotes then, from YB...although...he still might be talking about the same thing in both quotes? Since he uses the (16 times) in both? Maybe somebody else can shed some light on what Yogi Bhajan is refering to?
