Guest guest
Sat Nam. When in class (3rd class) and doing the "breath of fire" in various poses should everyone try and be in the same rhythm or can each person go fast or slow as suits them? They are all beginners and have different levels of commitment with practice at home. thanks again Brian- Wisconsin Mehtab Singh
Guest guest
All teachers I know, say, as a beginner or as a woman during your menstruation you can breath long and deep, instead of 'breath of fire' - but of course everyone should try it - practice makes perfect... Guest guest
To add to what Sonja has said.....everyone has their own rhythm and must find the speed that suits them.....somewhere between 100-120 breaths per minute. My preference in the sound..is for everyone to be going at the same rhythm, but not necessarily apporopriate for everyone in the room??.... and I remember as a beginner how it really threw me when someone beside me was just going to town with the BOF and it was throwing my rhythm all off ! ha ha! Eventually we all become comfortable maintianing different rhythms without loosing our own. Sat Sangeet brian kilton <bkilton wrote:Sat Nam.
