Hi Brian,

 

as per my own experience I would advise, that it is better for the group

experience to do the BOF in the same rhythm (slower, but with an precise

belly movement) - at least for the first minute. This is normally a quite

nice experience for beginners and gives them the feeling '..hey, I can do

that as well..'. I also tell them, if you loose the rhythm, simply take two

deep breath, deep inhale and start again - I also do it sometimes, just to

give them the feeling, that there is nothing wrong if you loose the pace.

 

Mostly, when the student wants to 'show off', they start panting and do the

BOF fast, but wrong.
