Guest guest
Greetings All...part 2! My question is about mastery...in particular, mastery of the Life force and mastery of consciousness. I woke up this morning remembering something from 13 years ago. I had mentioned before that I had "accidentally" gone to see a Shaman once. By accident, all I mean is, I didn't know he was a Shaman at the time, somebody told me to go see him and I just kinda went...I didn't really understand what went on while I was there, but I felt better after I had left. Now having had some KY experience, I can put into perspective, what it is that went on...and what I remembered this morning, as I was waking up, was that, he did this procedure as I sat in a chair, and the end result, was that my kundalini energy had been raised. Now I'm not trying to begin a discussion on how to raise the kundalini energy out side of practices taught by Yogi Bhajan...what it got me to wondering about was...How is it that one individual can raise the kundalini of another? Is this mastery of the Life Force? What are the ingredients in this situation? I asked earlier this month... how can one master the life force without having mastered consciousness first? The answers I received, did not describe mastery, in my view...they described what the outcome is when the energy begins to raise and one is still quite neurotic and not consciously working with what is arising for them. So it leaves me wondering...is mastery of the life force a result of mastering consciousness? When I think about the Life Force or prana...I think of it as being the "God Force"...so how does one master that without, mastering (God) consciousness? (not to be presumptuous, that we could master God consciousness, in the human form...but you see where I am going with this). Or maybe my question is...how does one master the Life force? (if it is something outside of mastering consciousness?) So within Kundalini yoga, am I right to assume that one can master just parts of it? To me that doesn't seem like mastery...because there are still parts that are not mastered then...? ....But I realize with all of this I have a way of thinking "too big" at times....I can see in order to master all...it's a process of mastering all the parts first...and one has to be in the process they are currently in...and there is not much point in looking too far down the road, I guess!! Ha ha! So I think what I want to understand is...when someone has mastered the life force...what does that look like in their day to day experience... so that I can contrast that with how mastering consciousness looks like, in order to have a deeper understanding.
