Guest guest
Hello Anne & Dharam, Thank you for your advice. Its great to have people doing KY to ask advice from and read the different views and opinions. Especially cuz i don't think there is any KY teachers or Groups in my Area. I think i'll be checking out Acupuncture, since it sounds more apealing to me than other solutions. -Al
Guest guest
Dear Al,Hi, i came into this post late (as usual) and i dont know what you need to have surgery for but (and it seems you are going this way) I would definitly seek out acupuncture. about a decade ago i had a parasite and it ate through my intestines and the doctors said the solution was to remove them. I went through 5 different hospitals in 3 different states and even an experimental program importing drugs from canada. Now a little over a year of doing acupunture weekly (i missed some times here and there) and they are almost completly healed! In my opinion not only does acupuncture help you to heal yourself, but it can help in helaing things western medicine might not have been able to heal. Obviously i'm partial because it worked for me but i strongly recommened it. -Jennifer- The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
Guest guest
Hi Al ,Jennifer and All,I don't think that Al was ever thinking about surgery ....and I feel that my post was misunderstood......I think that Acupuncture has a very important place in healing ....but I don't believe that it can bring together a torn ligament ....this conversation had nothing to do with Al "s knee , it was an attempt to explain the different ligament injuries and some treatment modalities. My suggestion was to have his knee evaluated to determine what kind of injury he is dealing with and then he could chose the best treatment. Besides acupuncture, rolfing , reflexology, and an alternative physical therapist would be helpful.I am not a big fan of surgical intervention !!!!!!!! but if something is torn, it can also aid healing by physically repairing with surgery.Better Health for us all.......Balance and Sat Nam Anne j d <desrocj2 wrote:Dear Al,Hi, i came into this post late (as usual) and i dont know what you need to have surgery for but (and it seems you are going this way) I would definitly seek out acupuncture. about a decade ago i had a parasite and it ate through my intestines and the doctors said the solution was to remove them. Guest guest
Hey Anne, thanks for the reiteration and clarification. I, myself, am not sure how torn a ligament has to be before surgery is the only option. I'll check with the acupuncturists I know.
