Guest guest
Sat Nam Sat Sangeet, Lyn Y, Mehtab Singh and others, I don't know how many women on this list have been to KWTC. If you have, I'd be good to hear from you. To add to the earlier discussion, Yogiji has a whole lot to say about the capacity of a woman. Reading his lectures you'd think he was a woman. Certainly in the East, the feminine is encouraged in the male. To follow up a bit on this thread, Yogiji teaches that the woman has 16 times the emotional power of a man. He wants the western woman, especially, to "awaken" to this as women tend to cover up their strength for reasons of "convenience". (the masculine is frail these days, so why make trouble. It's a territoriality thing.) He wants woman to strengthen their system and projection so that the woman can "awaken" to her innate power. He teaches that women do not need therapy, that what they need is "awakening". (It's us guys who need more therapeutic measures. We need to "DO" stuff, paintball, sports, building bigger bombs, to work out our issues). He recommends women practice Archer Pose for up 11 minutes on each side everyday so that they can relate to that power within her psyche. If that power isn't related to cleanly through the sensory system, it can go sideways and a woman can be 16x more destructive than any guy on the planet. He has said a man needs a sledge hammer just to punch a hole in a wall, while a woman has the power to devastate an entire generation with a gesture, or a little flip of her head. Any woman who is in touch with the power in it's redemptive and elevating aspect can GET any guy on the planet. Just some mind drippings....things I've noticed while flipping through Women's Manuals. I probably should read them all the way through........Oh!, one other thing, he works with the woman because us guys don't have the attention span. He'll give us a some time and after a couple of days, we're "losing it" because we want to "DO" stuff, that's the mode we process in. Whereas with women, he'll give 2 to 4 weeks. Women have the capacity to just sit, absorb (that nesting, nurturing instinct) and give fruition to the teachings which, hopefully, you'll bring home for the guys to benefit from. That's his strategy, anyway. Sat Nam, Wahe Guru Dharam Sat Sangeet wrote: > > "People who have the idea that a woman is a weak and frail creature do > not know what a woman is. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Thanks Dharmam Singh for those ideas. My experience is that one has to meditate on this statement of 16 times to get an answer. Yogi Bhajan has made these statements, but they don't really mean much unless you tune into the reality of the energies of men and women. There are some basic differences that I have only understood in my meditation. And I went to about 15 years of Ladies Camp. Tuning into the essence of women and the essence of man has helped me appreciate both in a very different way. Guest guest
After sharing this information regarding a woman's essence with a friend, she said, " I AM already all I AM trying to become; therefore, I need do nothing. Only bodies do anything, and the body is not only not who I AM, it is an illusion. It is not real. To do anything only makes the body real, and deludes us into thinking something is happening. Enjoy the dream! This is an interesting perspective. Any comments? Sat Nam, Nirmal Kaur
Guest guest
If she is hapy with this, I presume it's all the best... In another life she will learn to be clear. Guest guest
Hi there Nirmal Kaur, She is speaking from a place of Self Sovereignty, which is what our relationship with our mothers should give us a we grow up. "I am the king/queen of my domain. None other than myself has any sway over who I am. I am all that I need. I am safe to express myself, I am loved regardless of what I say or do." In the teachings, it is said that we learn this somewhere up to and around our seventh year. After that point, we start wanting more Papa energy. How to take it into the world. ...................to be continued in the next email PamENixon wrote: > After sharing this information regarding a woman's essence with a > friend, she > said, " I AM already all I AM trying to become; therefore, I need do > nothing. Guest guest
I would also add to this discussion...the realization, that the body is our vehicle for evolution in the human form. Your friend is describing the experience of feeling soveriegn, as Dharam said, but also of, not over identifying with the body. As humans I think our challenge is to recognize ourselves' as spiritual beings in a human form...and the work we are here to do is to evolve through the experience, that having a physical body provides. As many have said before...I believe it's finding the balance between the spiritual and the temporal world....Yes...this is my True identity...but...in this lifetime i am also, an actor in this play we call the human experience...I have to be here now...present... in this experience and play my part. How do I manuervor through this experience with as much consciousness as I can muster? The physical body is all about presence and balance....and how do we balance all the scales and live our Soul's identity in a human form???
