Guest guest
Krishan Shiva and Adi Shakti...I share your experiences as well. In that I also practice in a somewhat isolated KY community (although there is a small community)...have been practicing for 4 years and recognize a huge discrepancy between the world behind my eyes that I dive into every morning and the world I step out into a few hours later. I listen to people talk...I turn on the TV...I look around and my first instinct is...I can't relate to any of this...where am I??? Then as Krishan Shiva said...you realize that is separist talk...and you remember your goal is unity...and how in this moment can I serve that goal best? I think it's one thing to establish a connection with the Divine and it's another thing, to begin to live it. I would imagine everyone starts out feeling as we do....I would also imagine as our capacity to, live from our identity rather than our neurosis increases, our abilty to project our radiance increases. We need to strengthen our spiritual muscle, until it can carry the full load....meaning first we develope our personal ability to feel connection with the Divine...then we take baby steps, dipping our toes into the water of "out there" every once in a while, testing out our ability to remain connnected in that situation....then when our muscle has grown strong enough...we then can take our "show on the road"....being fully who we are in every circumstance...and letting that have whatever effect, that has. It's a question of integration....integrating to the point where "out there" and "in here" have become one.
