Guest guest
Sharing of Meditation experiences and getting stuck in senses or effect of meditation: Sat Nam, I'm new to this place and would like to know if somebody had observed these manisfestation and how to get beyond them. I do not do any special kriya yet.i did read your website and i did try some exercise but i still pursue my primary training. i will slowly integrate your exercise like some kryas before meditation. so what i do: action : -simply sit down, stay perfectly quiet and very relaxed in half-lotus pose. Then imagine to be one with all. Simply try to merge, or freeze your thought. Then , they slow down, then it feel more clear.kind of mindfulness, where you try to expand the delay between thought. To catch the moment when they "pop out" During meditation, ( if i try to have a non-dualistic view) and try to have a consciousness of all, i have the following « symptom » : 1-I hear little tick or pops, in my left hear. When the pop occurs, i feel like electricity on the left side.sometime it can happen on the right too. I suspect these to be prana flow but why does it ticckle/pops ? Is this a kind of Anahata sound ? 2-sometime there is violet smoke, first little spot then all visual field is violet, like dark blue sky. The body is like sleeping.( the tickling seem to be over or not really in the body) 3- when trying to freeze thought, sometime there are flashes when I 'm between thought.( or at least it give this impression) point 1 : to go deeper in meditation , i should make abstraction of what i see and what i hear, but i do not succeed. point 2 : the feeling of electricity are very enjoyable and distract me. It is like if poeple will tickle me with a feather to make me laugh.( do not laugh ) point 3 : when trying to freeze, I see kind of "flashes" Any method to « abstract further » or any advice ? / remark.. or exercise ? I suppose i should not pay attention to theses but the more i try to forget them the stronger they get. Is this exercise good ? to try to have a non-dualistic view the way described ? Sat nam, Charles.
