Sat Nam Theresa,

With a Gift of Eleven never doubt that you are in the right place.

Kundalini is where it is at. You may want to check out other things, but

only to have a greater understanding of what you were introduced to in

Kundalini. Eleven is Excellence. My Deep Base aka Balance Number is

Eleven. Maybe this why I have want to understand HOW Yogi Bhajan works

and simply "follow" him and why I have found Ayurveda so interesting and

fulfilling. It's a natural progression for an Eleven.

For me it was good to sit down with a copy of Guruchander's book

"Numerology". You could go through it and have a thorough grasp of this

system in about an hour. His next book "Tantric Numerology" and Akara

Numerology

<cgi-bin/htmlos.cgi/001260.1.696385293521280105>

by Nam Hari Kaur will feed you once your appetite is whet.

(cgi-bin/start.cgi/store/shop.html?showcat=p).

In time you may just have these spontaneous, mind blowing Third Eye

openings that last about 1/3 of a second and you'll say "I got it" and

that will really seal it for you. Outside of that, it may be that you'll

make sense of what is being said and actually try out a yoga set or

meditation that will give you a result that really spoke to a deep need

that you felt in your Soul, as opposed to somewhere in your head or the

periphery of your being.

There is other, more advanced info I can share but I should do that

off-Post at some later date.

Sat Nam,

Dharam

The below copied directly from the Numerology page at http://www.3ho.org

Numerology is an ancient science that has recently come to the United

States in its original form. It was taught to me by Yogi Bhajan, a

master of Kundalini Yoga and meditation. Numerology is not an answer to

all questions, nor a panacea or philosophy. It is simply a useful tool

for understanding ones strengths and weaknesses, and for working on the

weaknesses and utilizing the strengths more effectively.

Personally, I find it to be useful in counseling since it gives an

extremely accurate frame of reference from which to begin.

This system of numerology is based upon the total being: mental,

physical, and spiritual. Although it is not generally understood in

Western society, we actually have ten bodies not one. The physical body

we are familiar with is the fifth body out of the ten.

* See the bottom of the page for additional comments on Tantric Numerology

THE TEN BODIES

The body that we know is the physical body. In addition to this body

there are other psycho-electromagnetic bodies of which we are not

generally aware. Here are the ten human bodies:

1. The SOUL body:

This is the core essence of one's consciousness. The part of you which

is infinite and undying. All creativity comes from here. When it

functions properly we feel at peace with ourselves, filled with grace

and creativity.

2. The NEGATIVE mental body:

This is the protective function of the mind which is sensitive to

dangers and warns us of them. When it malfunctions, we are either

worried about things that pose no real problem, or conversely, oblivious

to those things which pose a real and possible threat.

3. The POSITIVE mental body:

This is the positive, solution oriented part of the mind. When it

functions properly we are able to remain positive and solutional. When

it malfunctions we either feel that our problems are insurmountable, or

we are wildly positive where it is not necessary to be so.

4. The NEUTRAL mental body:

The neutral mind is the listening and evaluating mind. It receives input

from the negative and positive minds and reaches a sane and balanced

conclusion. When the neutral mind is dysfunctional, we are at the mercy

of our positive and negative thoughts. The neutral mind establishes the

balance or reference point.

5. The PHYSICAL body:

The physical body is the vehicle in which we live and travel. It pays to

take care of it.

6. The ARC body:

The Arcline or arc body is the antenna of the consciousness. It is the

transmitter of our intuitive awareness and contains our beaming or

visualization faculty. When the arc body is strong, we have the power to

create our own reality.

7. The AURA (the auric body):

The aura is the electromagnetic field of the physical body. It is the

circumvent or protective force.

8. The PRANIC body:

The pranic body is the subtle energy layer that transmutes pranic energy

from the environment to power the physical body.

9. The SUBTLE body:

The subtle body is the medium of the subtle sensitivity of communication

with others and with the environment. When the subtle body is working

properly, one becomes immediately sensitive to non-verbal cues and to

the meaning behind the words.

10. The RADIANT body:

The radiant body is the medium of projection. It is the luminosity that

embodies nobility, grace, power and leadership. When the radiant body is

functioning properly it brings a natural charisma and an effortless aura

of leadership.

The NUMBERS:

1. The SOUL number:

The soul number indicates your relationship with your own soul, with

your inner self and the source of your creativity. This number is

completely inner directed.

2. The KARMA number:

The karma number indicates your relationship with others. It indicates

blockages to effective communication with others and also the main area

of limitation that needs work.

3. The GIFT number:

The gift number shows your natural gift. It is the thing that comes to

you effortlessly. Your natural talent. It is God-given and needs no work

from you. The catch here is that you must have sufficient self-esteem

and elevation to graciously accept your gift in order to use it.

4. The DESTINY number:

The destiny number indicates the thing you have worked on for many

lifetimes. It indicates how OTHERS see you. You may not yourself this

way, but others perceive you in this way.

5. The PATH number:

The path number shows the thing you must do in this lifetime in order to

feel fulfilled. It is the path you must walk in order to feel that you

are successful... to feel that you have done the thing you came here to do.

a little Teaser

"Connections and Relationships between the Ten Bodies"

What is grace? Grace is the trust we give to others - the expectation of

who we are that we give to others. It is our radiant body. If we fail in

our grace, our radiant body is punctured, our pranic body is disrupted,

our positive and negative mind is completely blown up, and the neutral

mind fails.

If we are overprojective in our communication, we break up the psyche

(the aura, arcline and radiant body) of the other person. When we are

too withdrawn in communication the person to whom we are speaking has to

project out too much. Normally that's why people don't talk, they

discuss weather.

All power rests in the subtle body, and it is protected by the radiant

body. The physical body is just the house, the shelter, the vehicle.

There is a triangular connection between the mind, the arc body and the

pranic body, with the spiritual body at the center.

"We are talking about destiny and fate. The essence of power of

projectivity. The nucleus of the self of the center of the magnetic

field is like the eye of the being, like the eye of a hurricane. The eye

of the hurricane decides the velocity and the power and the projection

of the hurricane. Similarly the magnetic field of the human being is

based on the projectivity of the eye of the magnetic field of the

individual. It consists of the subtle body, the pranic body and the

radiant body. Out of the ten bodies, these three bodies combine

indirectly, and that 1s where a person finds prosperity and His or her

fulfillment.

That is the job of the spiritual teacher: to project such a heavy beam

of the magnetic energy to wake you up so that your radiant body can

start relating to your auric body and that you can understand the subtle

body. If the subtle body becomes gross or coarse, it doesn't matter who

you are, you are, condemned.

Prosperity is not produced by your idioticness, neither by your virtues.

Prosperity is produced immediately when the mind comes out of the

duality. And this twenty-fifth pauri of Japji has the power to take away

duality, because it covers every aspect of the self and its radiance.

And it does work on the tenth body, the radiant body. That's how

prosperity is produced".

Sat Nam Dharam....can you explain this line to me?I don't understand the use of

the word "expectation" and how that relates to trust/grace, in this sentence.

"Grace is the trust we give to others - the expectation of who we are that we

give to others."

Thanks,

St Nam Dharam,

I'd like to refer you back to the message you had written to me in answer to a

querry. I repeat some of the lines and would like your guidance.

I'm very withdrawn in my conversations with people and would like your advice on

what kriyas I should perform to overcome this. As a result I lead a very lonely

life.

How do I go about refining the subtle body from being gross or coarse.

Blessings

One thing for sure, loneliness sucks.

Your withdrawal can be for any of a number of reasons. It's hard to

assess the entirety of you and your experiences through this wall of 1s

and 0s. Your numerology could be very helpful (what's your birthday?).

Without additional info I can volunteer the following info and experiences.

The English word "anxiety" comes from a German root angst, "narrow,"

referring to the narrowing of the bronchial passages. One of my favorite

quotes is "shyness is at the root of all existential angst".

http://www.sahej.com/organ_emotion.html

Getting comfortable with yourself is key. Listen to your body. Your

skin has to fit. For me, once my Kundalini Shakti began to move I needed

the help of a bioenergetic therapist to feel my way through some major

blockages and get into my emotions in an non-selfconscious way. Once

that happened, there was no stopping me. Before that, I was a seriously

wound-up 19 year old with angina.

A Kriya that comes to mind is Kriya for the Instinctual Self (p.26 of

Gururattan's " Sexuality and Spirituality"

products/p01003.html) or Kriya for the Lower

Triangle.

So many tensions in our being, and this, of course, covers "angst" have

their home in the Lower Triangle, the first three Chakras. These sets

will work the physical patterning that brings us down. Subject yourself

deeply to the postures and breath. Submit!

Do a deep layout afterward and then some chanting. Really connect!

Eleven minutes or more is essential.

Archer and frog pose has its place and we can talk about that later, but

I have to get to sleep real soon.

Through the subtlety of your meditation and vision. But in the process

you must be gross and coarse! That's what the yoga is for, to get into

our animal nature.....mindfully. The animal nature nourishes the

spiritual nature.

Don't leave the house without a complete yoga and meditation practice.

Plan on a couple of hours.

When your breath is even and easy, then you'll know you're truly capable

of being with your subtle body. You'll have calmness and your nerve and

glandular balance.

Get back to us.

Dharam Singh

BPL,

What do you mean you are very withdrawn in your

communication with people? I'm just curious...

sometimes I wonder whether I am to withdrawn in my

communication, but do not know why.
