Guest guest
Sat Nam all, I am just writing to keep everyone updated on my progress. I have not responded for a long time but I'm still here and Im still practicing! I have lots of good news. The good news is the massive amount of bliss i have been experiencing while listening to music - The Doors puts me into a very exciting trance while i listen and dance to them, its very beautiful, but i owe most of the energetic ecstacy to the 4/4 breath, its my favorite single exercise! but also, i have in my possession Nirvair Khalsa's complete course for begginers and i am enjoying it very much, since i have no guru or teacher, he is as close as it gets for me! If you are reading this i just want to say thanks for the wisdom and guidance. Also, while im doing my spinal warm-up, at the end of the exercise as i hold the breath in, i keep having a vision of this woman and my heart devotes all love to her and for that moment i experience the highest state of love i have ever felt, it is bliss. Could this be the true love for God simply experienced through a physical being of the opposite sex? As i know- sexual desires are simply physical manifestations for a longing for God. It alsmost feels like it is God but in a human form, it is a very cleansing feeling that really opens up my heart. But when i release the breath- the vision, light and love vanishes within about 10 seconds. But for those few moments i experience true love is and what i think love is which is infinite, the hard part is keeping it with me throughout the day. Any thoughts or comments would be wonderful and very appreciated! Have a great day! Love and light always! Guest guest
David~ Thank you for your post. I also have experienced the God in human form, only with a male form. It happens to me sometimes in meditation; sometimes when in the twilight period of falling asleep or waking up. Sometimes just randomly during the day. It happened to me just today and there was quite a physical experience to go with it. It was pure bliss. Pure love. It feels as though the cells of my body are expanding into and wrapping around the universe & the universe is expanding into and wrapping around me. It is truly an amazing experience. I have had many of these experiences and find them to be increasing in frequency. I would also love to hear comments and thoughts about this. peace to you~ Adi Shakti Kaur kathy
Guest guest
Hey now Dave, We have two things in common. I was trancing on "Riders on the Storm" last night while heading out to the Cape. Truly good jams. We had Ray Manzarek (Doors keyboardist and Jazz benefactor for the group) come and perform at Summer Solstice about 12 years ago. Women....you gotta love 'em. We all came from one. If all us, women included, can't get drop-jawed and tongue tied about that fact on a somewhat regular basis, ya' might want to send out little death notices to all your buddies. It's a Big Dance. I think Ram Dass (Richard Alpert) called it the "only dance there is". As long as this beautiful experience of "the Grace of God" lasts, enjoy it but know that it/she is always there. Find ways to express your love. Use the chanting or whatever comes to you. You can invite an aspect of this same energy into you on the pause between the exhale and a new breath. That pause is the Womb, the giver of life, the Bhaga. The refined and subtle experience is there, although there may be some work involved to experience it on a regular basis. Guest guest
Sat Nam Dharam, and Dave:I knew there was something in both these messages that was haunting me, but I could not get to what it was, till this morning, it occurred to me. When for example, one does the White Tantric, one is also being shown the other side. The other side is the potential that exists within one self to cross over, and this could happen in any area/discipline/field/circumstance. However, even though this could happen anywhere, we are not in a habit of allowing ourselves to cross over, and hence by showing us through the White Tantric or any of the kriyas repeated over and over for longer and longer periods of time, one is being shown how to cross over. This is essentially a process of abstraction and once accomplished in one area one could then extrapolate/abstract it to others. Some people achieve it through dance/meditation/other. Please answer, Dharam as to whether this idea in another form is what you were thinking of.Sat NamLyn Dharam Singh <dharam wrote:Hey now Dave, We have two things in common. We are always exposed to the other side. It is in everything (read earlier posts on Tantric). In White Tantric we have a chance to shake off the blinders and feel the tantra within our own skin and share that with others. Big thanks to the Mahan Tantric, Yogi Bhajan for providing this potent neutral space. If you or anyone else wants to know this space more often and in a way that is contained and not prone to the pitfalls of regular barnyard infatuation and "the happiness of pursuit", ya' gotta try Tratakam meditation (gazing at the Tantric photo of Yogi Bhajan). We are what we eat, true, but we are also what we see, hear, smell and feel. By gazing at this photo of Yogiji, we embody the qualities of tantra. In this photo he is in a perfect state of tantra. You could also gaze at a flower (or a bowling ball) and embody some of those qualities....it's your choice.. > This is essentially a process of abstraction and once accomplished > in one area one could then extrapolate/abstract it to others. That's right, that's why we call it "yogic or spiritual practice". We practice being alive within a specific time and space. This is the pebble in the pond. The ripples are our practice resonating in the larger picture of our lives. > Some people achieve it through dance/meditation/other. We are now faced with the same challenges than were upon us in the '60s. A real an immediate need to break through the denseness. Back then we had all kinds of psychotropic substances to get us there and a lot of folks didn't come back. That's why when Yogiji came here he decided that Yoga "lite" (he had initially planned on teaching Hatha) wasn't going to to cut the Maya fast enough. He decided that Kundalini was the only technology that was going match the rapidity of LSD in producing some profound glimpses of REALITY. And he was right! And it was longer lasting and wouldn't fry your nervous system, when practiced correctly. Sat Nam, Dharam (a friend to all lizards)

Okay, so now that you have started on this thread, could you elaborate a bit more on the Tratakam meditation? (or is what you have described above, a complete description?) I agree that the gratitude to Mahan Tantric, Yogi Bhajan is there, wholly and completely. >>You could also gaze at a flower (or a bowling ball) and embody some of those qualities....it's your choice.. So just gaze and meditate? >>cut the Maya fast enough. Elaborations? >>He decided that Kundalini was the only technology that was going match the rapidity of LSD in producing some profound glimpses of REALITY. No argument. Immense gratitude only!Sat NamL The New Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo.
