Sat Nam All:I realize that for persons who do not have a KY teacher in their

vicinity, this web site is a great resource - a teacher, as are all the regular

posters here. So my respects to all of you. Within the last couple of months,

I feel I have learned a tremendous deal from all your posts and in

particular:Sat Sangeet Kaur ( Sat Sangeet -- is True music? and SatSang is good

company? of which I believe you are both and more).Seva Simran - I do not know

what Simran means, however, I think Seva means to help, and you dear Seva

Simran, helped me through a big hurdle in my personal life. Your posts are very

informative and hit the nail on the head.Dharam - (means right path? Your posts

are fantastic and the resources on which you draw are tremendous)Thank you all

very, very much.Sat Nam

Sat Nam Lyn,

" I do not know what Simran means, however, I think Seva means to

help, ...Your posts are very informative and hit the nail on the

head."

Seva means "selfless service" and "simran" means constant

rememberance of the Infinite......although I don't know if this is

the exact translation of Seva Simran's name....as Yogi Bhajan

sometimes gives gives a twist when he decribes it for you...it's not

always the direct translation of the words. Although we can have an

impression, as you've said, through people's postings what the name

embodies.

There's a line in a Peace Family song "Carry us Home"....and it

goes..."In the compnay of the saints...I am whole...I am whole"

(they are singing to Guru Ram Das to carry them home)....I love that

line...and I love being in the company of the holy....it makes me

feel whole! Ha ha!

All Light,

Sat Sangeet
