Guest guest
Juliet, You have to note that the great Yogic Masters resided in the hills of the Himalaya, where they could do Ishnaan in ice cold mountain streams and where the climate was stimulating and conducive to deep meditation and mastery of the life force. Bikram Choudary is a business man and ridiculously blunt and polarizing....I have to laugh. (http://www.bikramyoga.com/) When I do Bikram, I tune in (Adi Mantra), and breath properly, which is not taught at all, although the instructors will say to the class, "breathe like Dharam". It's basic to me, ....I'm not proud. I enjoy the intensity of the heat and the absolute and unwavering focus required to keep it all together in the up to 109 degree heat. One thing for sure is it does make you flexible. It's a winter thing for me. Sat Nam, Gotta go to sleep, Dharam Chewchi1 wrote: > Bikram Yoga is hot yoga in a room of 100 degrees.
