Guest guest
Sat Nam Lisa, Thank you for your thorough response and the clarity. Sorry, I couldn't tell what was going on. Many people on this list do have 2 (or more) names and only one personality....usually. You had me wondering and a bit frustrated. Why? Because I want to feel like I make a difference. (my own agenda) Can Jodie get a separate email address? They are free. I am a double Pisces, the exact polarity of Virgo....however I was born the year of "The Cock", so I am a bit cocky, and more importantly, "The Cock" or "Rooster" if you prefer, corresponds to the Virgo energy, so I can be more than a little critical of others and myself. This perfectionism does suck, unless I can channel it into music or art. The tension you describe trying to bridge Wiccan and your Christian background is all too familiar. I don't have that particular struggle but I see it all around me in my Sikh community. So many American Sikhs would benefit by going to India and seeing how un-selfconscious, whole and organic this path can be. I don't know very well of Matriarchal cultures but did I hear something on NPR that you and others might find interesting click to listen. The word "father" does not exist. Marriage is really non existent. They have a "walking" marriage. You gotta check it out. Let me know if you can't hear it. rtsp://audio.npr.org/atc/20030427_atc_05.rm "Leaving Mother Lake" ( http://discover.npr.org/rundowns/rundown.jhtml?prgId=2&prgDate=April/27/2003 <http://discover.npr.org/rundowns/rundown.jhtml?prgId=2&prgDate=April/27/2003> ) In the Country of Daughters, at the far western edge of China, music is a part of everyday life... but traditional marriage isn't. Lynn talks to Yang Erche Namu and Christine Mathieu, authors of the new memoir Leaving Mother Lake: A Girlhood at the Edge of the World. (Little Brown & Company; ISBN: 0316124710). The book follows Namu as she leaves her family home to become a famous singer. We cool now? Hang in there, I(we) got your back, Sat Nam, Dharam Singh dipsuki666 wrote: > sat nam dharam... > > a) my friend jodie is also into kundalini-unfortunately, she does not > have an > online service, > > c) i was born on september 11 and i am 23 years old. i am aware that i > must > stick to things in order to benefit from them, that is one thing that is > difficult for me and i am striving for it still. > d)jodie is 19 and a gemini. > e) my boyfriend is also gemini, but cant quite commit to yoga yet, like a > gemini. > > g)wicca: what a typical question from a nonwiccan actually, i dont > practice now, i am merely interested in learning about it. i did > practice in > the past, and never could wrap my brain around the polygamistic and/or > matrarchal aspects of it, being raise catholic and then christian. and > yes, i > was a good witch, if a confused one. > > k) yes darling, i am damn hard on myself, and not very happy about > it. don't > rub it in. i am TRYING HARD to not do this with ky. we virgos need > support, > advice and acceptance from others, not a roster of what we are doing > wrong. > > i am saying all this because i love you.)) > > your frazzled, hyper, self-deprecating but loving friend, > lisa
