Guest guest
Sat Nam ya'll, Well you remember all those symptoms I was relating to my liver? Turns out I was headed for acute kidney failure. Went to the doctor Monday morning with a bellyache and was on dialysis by lunch. Apparently my blood chemistry was as messed up as it could get, they were a bit surprised I was still functioning with all those toxins in my system! Now I'm doing dialysis 3 times a week, have a big catheter hanging out of my chest and am feeling more than a little fragile, emotionally as well as physically. It's a big deal! I'm still in crisis mode over it all and so I'm real unclear as to how I'm gonna wrap my head around this one. All I can do at this point is remember that every moment in my life is encompassed by the will of God. I would welcome your prayers, hopes and good intentions for my healing. My kidneys may bounce back, they may not, the doctors aren't sure. I'm intent on doing all that I can to help them along. Everything else, I'm making up as I go along. Guest guest
Geetings Leo! I am new to the group and am sorry to hear about your current challenges. I too had an unhappy liver thankfully she keeps getting better. Please sip on lots of Dandelion tea. It not only cleanses the liver but the kidneys too. Also massage the area of your liver/kidneys with warm caster oil, especially at night. Don't know if your doctor will allow you to drink the Dandelion tea - but it is an excellent cleanser. I'll keep you in my prayers. Love, Sat Nam Verette
Guest guest
--Hi Leo, I have enjoyed your posts. I'm keeping you [and your kidneys] in my thoughts. If meditation is part of your practice you might want to consider this: when my adrenals were all beat up, I found a picture of adrenals (close to the kidneys in location and function as you know), and put it on my alter. I did a visualization every day, and I wanted to make it very real. - They're quite cute! Best wishes for a quick and complete recovery. Guest guest
Hey there Leo, I'm feeling you here. Not too much I can put into words. One thing........know that all of the yoga and meditation you have done has made things better. It may be that you've burned away a big enough sh*tload of karma to avert something even way more catastrophic. Believe it! If I remember correctly you've been on the cocktail and a few other things. They've kept you alive but there is a certain amount of toxicity with these treatments. For that it is super important to get on an alkaline diet, for one. You might also consider the melon diet (will post details later although I believe it is in the archives). As little as three days of watermelon is incredibly soothing and rejuvenating to the kidneys/adrenals. A big fella can eat a whole melon a day, easy. This might not be good if you have high blood sugar, though. Cornsilk tea is good, also. Also, Kunchan Mudra Kriya and Kriya for Disease resistance and Heart Helper come to mind as things that can definitely help Kidney chi. Regardless, anything that helps you "breathe easier" will help Kidney chi. Can you get some Chinese medicine? More later.
