sat nam, everyone!

 

this question just occurred to me today, and i am burningly curious: are

there any poets in the group, like who practice and are really interested in

the art? i am budding in my own discovery of it, and would like to maybe

share with those who are also interested. thanks y'all!

Sat Nam, Lisa.

I've been very close to the poetry until I came to the USA. It is true

that when you learn the language you learn the poetry in the latest

stages. In 97 drawing helped me to get out of depression. I was getting

up 5 a.m. and walking toward the rising Sun. the pictures starting at

the "stare at the blank white paper", and turning into spiritual

pictures (later I found out there was a connection between them and my

dreams; like the dreams have their own reality and consistent at that.)

In the past I taught Spiritual Dance classes, a lot of art in that.

Now my work is art (Myofascial release), and doing Kundalini yoga and

teaching it is art. I love changing the sets every two weeks and

watching the awareness grow in the body. The art of awareness. As Yogi

Bhajan says, if you won't consciously relate to your body, your mind

won't consciously relate to you.

I had to stop my long hours meditations though, because the cosmic mind

was taking off, and physical mind attached to my body was not ready to

cope with all the new demands of higher creative self. Too much was

happening on higher self levels. Thank you, I want to be just a human

woman for a while.
