Guest guest
Sat Nam ya'll, I just wanted to thank you all for your heartfelt messages of healing and concern. The process proceeds along, I'm not quite sure what's coming around the bend. (but then do any of us?) It's difficult at times to stand up in the face of all the Western medical people. The whole vocabulary they use is negatively oriented! But I'm plowing ahead tho. What else can ya do huh? Most of it is still too big to worry about and I have too many decisions to make to let myself get completely caught up in the emotions of the moment I have alot of mail today, so I'll write you guys again later. Thanks again and keep those prayers coming in! Sat Nam, Leo
Guest guest
Sat Nam Leo, I would like to share something about a trail run. I was running along a trail in the Franklin Mountains, southern most part of the Rockies, in the middle of the desert. The vegetation consisted of greyish colored occotillo, tall, stick-like desert plants with long thorns, different types of cacti ranging in color from light green to dark green, and other desert shrubbery, brown. I started running and shortly thereafter I came upon a hill and i was able to overcome the hill with little effort, the trail then became easier to manage, for it flattened out, easy. Running along, the trail started to inlcline, and I continued to run, rounding a turn, all of sudden the trail got very steep, almost overwhelming me, and I kept running. The run became difficult, my torso began to cramp, my chest began to ache, my legs began to sruggle. I looked down at the multi-grey and multi-brown rocky terrain beneath my feet, and then I looked up at the top of the hill... disillusion started to creep into my consciousness and I thought about the difficulty of overcoming this obstacle, knowing full well that there would be another hill afterwards. so, i redirected my attention to the present place, filled with pain and discomfort, and I looked at the rocky trail immeditely present to me...
