Guest guest
This is Robin Petese writing to say thanks so much Dharam and [i'm sorry I forgot how to spell the other man's name] but thank you also for the very effective shower method . I would,nt have guessed how pleasant and vastly effective it would be. It is now as essential part of my day as my tea in the morning. It cleans the subconcious ruminations of sleep out of my head has greatly improved the contours of my legs, increased my radiance and focused my energy in a more together and alert way. I have another question I am curious about. Should I run the cold water on top of my thighs over the shorts? Should I just not run cold water over that area at all? Also I have been doing a sa ta na ma meditation as recomended to prepare for the summer solstice.[my first 40 day meditaion] Does anyone Know if Yogi Bhajan has mentioned anything about the 5 lbs of pressure on the tip of the thumb stimulating the pineal gland.[hand reflexology] because now that I am applying that kind of pressure, estimating because I don't know how otherwise, it definitely does do that and quickly deepens the experience, though it's a bit uncomfortable and the sensation does sort of give me the willys. It is very much worth it of course. I feel much more balanced than I have felt in a while. Sat Nam everyone, Robin
Guest guest
Hi Robin, I'm glad to hear and know of your experience. You are getting the benefits. A day without Hydrotherapy IS like a day without Sunshine....to me. What part of the world/US are you in? Up here in Massachusetts, now that it's Spring, the water has already lost its sting....can't wait 'til November. I like the progression from body part to body part shared by Adarsh Singh. It's similar to my routine. I don't like shocking the body/mind. The purpose of the shorts is to protect the nerves and meridians in the inner thigh that regulate calcium/magnesium/mineral balance. Any rapid change in temperature to this area is not good. There are even special "underwear" called Kachera that we wear that regulate the energies and temperature of this very special area. This is a very fine science and art. It's something I wouldn't try and get too creative about. You can trust Yogiji on his advice about the shorts. That said, you can certainly run water over them. They are doing their job of modifying the temperature differential by simply being on you. Regarding the Pineal, pressure points and the Willy's, yes, the middle of the thumb and big toe have a connection to the Pineal gland. You can get a buzz, no doubt. Just keep breathing and circulating the experience throughout your whole body and being. Remember that the Pineal and Pituitary are like the flower of the Lotus but it's roots are several feet down, in the mud on the bottom of the pond. That root is your navel point and lower triangle. It nourishes the whole of your being including the spirit. Without it, all is only pretty and paper thin. Ciao, it's late, Dharam Singh sparkofgod1 wrote: > This is Robin Petese writing to say thanks so much Dharam and > [i'm sorry I forgot how to spell the other man's name] but thank you > also for the very effective shower method .
