Guest guest
Sat Nam Anne Marie, Do people start to treat you differently when you become a Yoga teacher?? YES!!! Teaching Yoga definetly brings up a lot of "stuff!" Your own and others...the guidance from your teacher sounds wonderful. Remember that only those open to growth will welcome truth. As you teach some will try to throw their responsibilty for growth on you...are you going to accept it or give it back? for it IS their responsibilty. Your teacher may have seen that in you? I have found to speak from the heart, to live from the heart allows your student to do the same. It may be sticky and very uncomfortable at first as you find your footing. Be true to your teachings, teach as you were taught, seek guidance from the lineage and things will fall in place. Protect yourself as you are surrounded with negativity and then practice to increase YOUR positivity and you will invite it into your classroom. If you are able to detach from negativity of others you will easily see it is about something they feel inadequate about and are wanting you to make it alright for them. Teaching from the neutral mind will help you see this easily. Best of Luck, you have chosen a beautiful path. Keep up!!!! Rebecca
