Guest guest
Sat Nam Lisa, I too am a poet. Kundalini is indeed a very useful way to tap into that creative river that poetry flows from. It allows you to explore and expose you'r emotions to a higher level of awareness thus increasing creativity and expanding your viewpoint to a more infinite level of understanding. Experiences- sad or joyful all invoke the spirit of writing and a risen kundalini enhances the process of breaking those problems/triumphs down into a poetic, expressive form. Rhyming is the infinite beat of our souls...a good poet never runs out of rhymes although poetry is not always rhyming since I do a lot of free verse also. There are many forms of poetry, all of them beautiful. After I started doing kundalini for the first time (4/4 breath for the energy center) I was awakended to a whole new, broader reality which was so beautiful and vast that the only way I could describe it was through creative writing and I have been writing since, it is my favorite pastime. Yes indeed, poetry is an art and art doesnt always come easy. Being an artist isnt as easy as it sounds, to be an artist you must master you'r art. The Greeks beleived that the gods spoke through arts and theater. Art can be anything you want it to be, just let it flow freely from the unconscious sea of infinity (hehehe). Which brings me to my next point- the unconscious sea we all float in which is completely infinite. It is the source of all wisdom and creation. Art is creating something, anything, so when you can tune into the source of creation you can use it to create. And that is exactly what kundalini is...tapping into creation. Creation is the source of all life, everything that is has been created at one time. You were created, the earth was created, the stars were too! Artists are indeed creators but not THE Creator. If you are looking to enhance your poetic/artistic abilities I would suggest building a strong base (lower 3 chakras) especially the 3rd chakra. But no matter what you do it will help you with not only poetry but everything else you do. I hope I have been of some help. Good luck to you and dont be shy to share some of you'r poetry if you like, I would love to read some.
